The Avocent DSR1021 KVM switch is

speciﬁcally designed for IT administrators

who need to easily troubleshoot, reboot or

even power cycle servers or serial devices

in branch ofﬁces, avoiding the need for

costly on-site service calls.

The 8-port DSR1021 switch expands the

Avocent DS Series patented, ﬁeld-proven

KVM over IP technology and is managed

by new DSView 3 software. The DSR1021

switch includes external modem support,

so IT administrators can manage remote

devices if the network is down.

Combined with DSView 3 software, SNMP

and IPMI support, and a Web browser, the

DSR1021 switch provides on-screen, BIOS-

level control of your branch ofﬁces’ servers,

routers and DSUs. Hub and spoke failover

capability allows users to authenticate

when a primary server is unavailable.

require DSView 3 management software to

be installed.
