VGA KVM Matrix Switch via CATx
Consolidated control for multi-user, multi-rack server environment up
to 1,000 feet away.
Provides non-blocking access for up to 16 simultaneous users to up to 64
servers.
Consists of three components: PRIMUX-nXm Matrix Switch, connects users
to servers; PRIMUX-UZR User Stations, connect to each set of keyboard,
monitor and mouse; and Host Adapters, connect to each server.
Platform-specific host adapters for host connection – PS/2, USB, SUN,
Serial.
The User Stations and Host Adapters can be located as far as 1,000 feet from
each other, and are connected to the matrix switch via CATx UTP cable.
Control the switch from the on screen display (OSD) of a connected User
Station, via RS232, or remotely via Telnet.
Simple plug-and-play auto-configured installation.
• Servers are discovered as they are powered up, and can be accessed
immediately by authorized users.
Hot-swap components with no disruption of server operation.
Supports video resolutions to 1920x1440.
• Resolution varies depending on distance and type of CATx cable used.
Automatically adjusts the video quality to compensate for varying lengths of
CATx cable.
Optional PRIMUX Redundancy Switch quickly switches control of User
Stations and Servers to a back-up PRIMUX Matrix Switch.
Available sizes: 8x32 and 16x64.
VGA KVM Switch via CATx
Control up to 64 servers in zero rack space.
Consists of two components: the PRIMUX-UZR User Station that connects
to a keyboard, monitor and mouse, and Host Adapters that connects to each
server.
• User keyboard and mouse must be of the same platform – both USB or
PS/2.
• A multiscan VGA monitor is required to display the different video
outputs from different platforms.
• Servers can be the same or different platforms (PS/2, SUN, USB or serial).
Up to 64 Host Adapters can be daisy-chained together providing user access
to up to 64 servers.
• Interconnect multiple servers at different locations throughout a building.
The User Station and Host Adapters can be located as far as 1,000 feet from
each other via CATx UTP cable.
Control the switch through the front panel interface, keyboard commands, or
on screen display (OSD).
Easy to install and use with plug-and-play functionality.

keyboard, USB mouse & DVI monitor.
High Density Switch saves rack space.
• 4-, 8- and 16-port switches are 1RU in height.
• 24- and 32-port switches are 2RU in height.
Dedicated internal microprocessors emulate keyboard and mouse presence to
each attached CPU 100% of the time so all computers boot error-free.
Features NTI's patented true autoboot USB switching – all attached
computers can be booted simultaneously.
Compatible with USB computers (PC, SUN and MAC).
Supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200.
Single link digital DVI signal.
Control the switch through the front panel interface, keyboard commands, or
RS232.
Compliant with USB 2.0 (low/full speed) standards.
Keyboard and mouse are hot-pluggable.
Supports SUN and MAC extra keys.

Supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200.
Auto scan all computers to catch system failures early.
Broadcast keystrokes to all computers for simultaneous shut-downs.
